Today I began to think about and write down some questions that i could possibly use for my audience research essay. I have chosen questions that will help to get lots of useful information about a range of different audiences to do with what they enjoy in film and music and then i can use this to develop my actual sequence. I will pick ten good questions to use in my survey and then send it to a variety of people.

Today I began to use my notes from my title annotations and compare them thoroughly to each other. I compared every aspect possible from each film with the others that I analyzed and wrote this up in essay form. This is going to help me because it will get me to read the notes and then compare and re-write the, which will be an effective way for me to learn how the film title sequences are formed and how they are influenced by different things. It will help me to learn how the use of colour, sound and other things plays a huge part and can make the audience think a particular thing.

Today I finished doing my title annotations task and put all of my pictures onto word documents and then annotated them in detail. These notes will help give me a clear idea of how the different genres and audiences influence construction of title sequences. The notes are short but precise and straight to the point making it easy to quickly evaluate the title sequence and compare it to others. The pictures I chose ranged and showed vital parts of the sequence so this means i have not missed a vital piece of information.

Today I gathered the print screens for my title annotations task. This is a vital task because it gets me to think about what I need to do and how different genres of films make their title sequences. The audience for the film will also make a difference to all the aspects of how the title sequence is constructed in terms of colours, fonts, images etc. I have picked films that vary in genre and audience to gain a broad range of ideas as to how my title sequence should be constructed.

Today in lesson I made this blog to put my media work on. We were told that we need to create an opening two minute sequence for a film and then also create an opening scene. we need to complete lots of other work including Risk assessment, Location Recce and a Preliminary Task. All of this work will be put on pages on our blogs and we will post everyday in detail explaining what work we have done in the lesson and what the reason is for that piece of work.
